DIRECTS STRING GROUP CLASSES AND ENSEMBLES

Marie-Sophie Brackstone is a former student of the Bermuda School of Music’s Suzuki Strings program of 15 years, having been taught by Mr. David France and Dr. LaTannia Ellerbe. Inspired by these teachers, excellent influences in both music and character, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Music from the Catholic University of America in 2023.

Marie-Sophie has performed in orchestras in Bermuda, North Carolina, New York, and Washington DC and has taught the violin with Suzuki both in Bermuda and the United States.

Marie-Sophie is eager to return to Bermuda School of Music, now as a teacher and to inspire Bermuda’s future violinists to share their hearts through music.
