Caroline completed her BA Hons Music Degree from Bath Spa University in the UK in 2001. A few years later she completed a distance learning Post Graduate Diploma in Music Teaching in Professional Practice from Reading University in 2004.
From 2001 to 2006 Caroline taught the piano and cello privately while also working part time in an administrative post at Derby University from 2003 to 2004. Between 2001 and 2006 she was also the Cellist in a String Quartet, that performed for weddings and corporate events in and around the Derbyshire area in the UK. In September 2006 she came to Bermuda as a piano and cello teacher at the Bermuda School of Music, where she has since trained in the cello Suzuki School, and as a Kindermusik music teacher in 2009.
Caroline has taught cello group classes, Kindermusik classes, pre-school music classes in various nursery schools on the island. She has many private piano and cello students, ranging between 5 years old to adults. Many of her students have taken graded ABRSM exams and all have achieved positive results. Caroline has performed on the cello in various concerts, including the Mendelssohn Octet in 2007 and the Brahms Piano Quintet in 2008. Other performances have included accompanying on the cello with Bermudian artist Heather Nova, and performances in various orchestral concerts alongside the Bermuda Chamber Choir.
